Elisabeth, Camp Parent

Katie, Camp Parent

"My son had a great experience as a first timer at Adventure Links. His little brother can't wait to go next year too!"

Maria, Camp Parent

"My son says that Adventure Links camp 'is exhausting, tiring, fun, exhilarating, and a stamina workout'. He can't wait to try another AL [Adventure Links] camp next summer."

Kathy, Camp Parent

"She had a great time. It was interesting and she learned new things that she would not have learned elsewhere. Highly recommend it to kids who like to be outside."

our model

a history of excellence

For 20 years, Adventure Links has been a leader in summer camp, outdoor education, and team building. Founded in 1997 by Anna and Austin Birch in Northern Virginia, we have provided exciting and memorable summer camp experiences for nearly 15,000 children and thousands of corporate, non-profit, and school groups. Our Northern Virginia location is a trusted partner of the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority and Fairfax County Public Schools, and we maintain an accreditation by the American Camp Association.

trained & experienced instructors

While most camps call their staff "counselors," we call our staff "instructors." Camp should be a memorable and educational adventure, and the staff are a pivotal part of this journey. With ratio of just 1:6, our instructors will be introducing your children to exciting activities such as rock climbing and caving, all while leading them on a journey of self-discovery. It might be your child's first time at camp, but our instructors have been doing these activities for years.

To ensure a fun and safe environment, all of our instructors must be at least 19 years old, have a passion for the outdoors and youth education, and undergo an intensive training process. Our instructors also undergo a federal criminal background check, pre-employment drug screening, and are subject to additional random drug screenings throughout their employment.

convenient pickup locations

Our day camps are unique in that we offer convenient pickup locations to make summer camp even easier. Our Northern Virginia day camps offer pickup locations throughout Northern Virginia and the Washington DC metro area, and our Miami camps have pickup locations throughout Miami-Dade county. Adventure Links is one of the only summer camps to offer this service.

Each week, we travel to a different neighborhood and pickup our summer campers! All of our convenient pickup locations are generally at neighborhood parks, schools, or community centers in the heart of your neighborhood. Simply drop your child off in the morning and pick them up in the evening. Our experienced instructors will be there ready and awaiting your arrival.

adventure, learning, & affordability

Adventure Links' programs strive to challenge the individual, develop teamwork and empower the participant to protect the environment. We create positive learning cultures and challenge ourselves to be on the forefront of outdoor educational practices. Our instructors are motivated to educate youth in the outdoors. They create experiences that provide the back-drop for individual and team development through the use of exciting adventure and educational activities during our summer camps.

We know summer camp can be expensive, which is why we offer extremely competitive pricing and payment plans. We also work with local charities to provide complimentary experiences for underprivileged and at-risk youth in our community, while also participating in river and beach cleanup programs.

Are you ready to give your kids the summer of a lifetime?
