This is a 2008 updated day camp that brings adventure to a new tier. This camp is all about pushing yourself to try something that you haven’t done before. Pedaling down muddy trails on a mountain bike and catching the wind of the ocean while learning the delicate art of sailing.You will explore the Native American world and climb farther and higher on a rock face than you think you can.

Rock Climbing
Location: Turkey Run Memorial Park - Great Falls, VA
Choose your challenge as staff have a variety of introductory and more advanced climbs ready. Explore the vertical world while learning climbing technique and proper safety equipment
Caving
Location: Whitings Neck Cave- Shepherdstown , WV
Bring/Wear: Bring water, lunch, raingear, clean clothes to change into, garbage bag, and backpack. Wear tennis shoes or hikers and warm (long sleeve shirt and pants) clothes to GET DIRTY. Sandals may be worn on the ride home.We head underground to crawl through the passageways of Whitings Neck Cave. A new environment for many of our campers, caves offer a break from the heat, typical during the summer months (caves have a constant temperature of 52 degrees , no matter what season it is!!) Please be prepared for the cooler temperature and a wet and muddy day of exploring.
Outdoor Survivor Skills
Location: Adventure Links - Paris, VA
Presented with an emergency scenario, the group must make careful decisions in order to survive. Can they provide food, water, shelter and water for themselves? With our leaders guidance, this group of people will be prepared for the real thing after their fun and exciting day at Adventure Links.
Sailing
Location: Gunpowder State Park, MD
We dive into a new and thrilling adventure activity this year with the introduction of Sailing! We spend the day on beautiful Chesapeake Bay learning sailing techniques, swimming and enjoying the breeze and surroundings.
Thurs non-optional single night
Location: Patapsco Valley State Park, MD
Stay overnight in a beautiful campground after Sailing all day! Enjoy sleeping comfortably in your tent with the sounds of crickets. Enjoy a camp-out breakfast the next morning and then head out to your next activity, Mountain Biking!
Mountain Biking
Location: Seneca Creek State Park, MD
Learn basic mountain biking technical skills and safety in the wonderful hills of Virginia. The fun filled day includes riding over a wide variety of terrain and through off the beaten path recreational areas.
