This week of overnight camp is action packed. This course couldn't get any more advanced; we are teaching you everything from rolling a kayak to belaying a person rock climbing and setting trap and release during primitive technology training. We will be traveling around Pennsylvania to seek out some truly beautiful areas for mountain biking and hiking. We mix up this trip with leadership, teaching and fun, a twist that is sure to engage and excite!

Team Building - Sunday
Location: Adventure Links Base Camp
Begin your trip experience with games, fun, activities and group challenges. As a group we will pack our food, our group gear and our bus to set us up for embarking on an exciting week. Groups will be established, dinner will be made and fun will be had! In the evening we will have a campfire, games and discuss what is happening in the week to come.

Kayaking & Canoeing - Monday
Location: Shenandoah River, VA
We get an early start down to the river to begin the white water kayak instruction, teaching the basics of balance, posture, paddle strokes and rolling, to set us up for our river trip the next day. We head to beautiful Pennsylvania in the afternoon, home to Gifford Pinchot State Park for an evening of food, fun and laughter.

Whitewater Kayaking - Tuesday
Location: Potomac River
Today we head out for a full kayaking trip down the Potomac River and local tributaries in Harpers Ferry, WV. We will have lunch along the banks of the river and many adventures along our way. After paddling we head back to our campsite for more fun and games!

Rock Climbing - Wednesday
Location: Chickies Rock County Park
This morning we head out to climb at Chickies Rock County Park alongside the river. We will be teaching how to belay, some advanced climbing and rappel techniques and much more. After a day of climbing we go back to our campsite for some relaxation and swimming.

Survival Skills & Natural Waterfalls - Thursday
Location: Abrams Creek Retreat
We wake up, pack up and hit the road! Once we arrive at our campsite we spend the day enjoying the natural waterfalls and learning some primitive skills at the best campground of the trip!

Mountain Biking - Friday
Location: Canaan Valley
This morning we wake up and head out to a fun filled day of Mountain Biking and Day hiking. Canaan Valley offers some amazing trails for us to try out the bikes on, and when we are done with that we travel down the road to beautiful Blackwater State Park for more waterfalls!

Closing Activities - Saturday
Location: Adventure Links Base Camp
We wake up this morning, have a community breakfast and pack up for our drive home. When we arrive back at Adventure Links Base camp we will unpack our belongings and get ready for the family picnic.
