Additionally, these detailed directions may also be helpful getting to our new base camp:

**** Important note- please drive VERY, VERY slowly on the last 2 miles on Yates Ford Road as both a precaution and a courtesy to those living and driving on that road. It is a beautiful, but narrow road and careful consideration and attention must be taken on this section.

To reach Hemlock Overlook from the East:
Travel on 66 West
Take Exit 55 for Fairfax County Parkway South 7100. Travel for 2.2 Miles
Right onto Braddock Road. Travel for 2 miles
Left onto Clifton Road
*Follow Clifton Road as it turns Right at the “Y” intersection
Go through the town of Clifton
Go Straight at the stop sign, the road changes to Kincheloe
Right onto Yates Ford Road (please drive no more than 20 miles per hour)

To reach Hemlock Overlook from the West:
Travel on 66 East
Take Exit 52 towards Centreville on route 29. Follow 29 right off of the ramp.
Travel 2.8 Miles
Take a right onto Clifton Road*

Follow Yates Ford Road to Hemlock Overlook park entrance. There is a parking area straight ahead through the yellow gate-- we will be hosting the barbecue at the outdoor pavilion at the facility and a staff member or signage will guide you to that location.:
