Go green this summer with Adventure Links! We’re taking all of the activities we love, and combining them with all the topics we care for in this action packed overnight. The outdoors not only provides us with a fun and rewarding place to participate in great adventure sports, but also a classroom for exciting natural lessons and inspiring challenges. Learn about alternative energy sources and sustainable living. Give back to nature with river and trail clean-ups. Throughout our various outdoor adventures we will be educating these youth in the choices and opportunity they have every day to make a difference and appreciate the natural world that we live in.

Team Building - Sunday
Location: Adventure Links Base Camp
After everyone arrives we will dive right into to a day of challenging team building activities that will bring the group together and turn strangers into friends. Later this evening we will discuss packing, food and have dinner followed by a campfire!

Rock Climbing - Monday
Location: Stony Man, Shenandoah National Park
In the morning we pack up and hit the road towards our first destination, Stony Man Climbing area! We will spend the day learning about techniques and equipment while climbing! After we have had our fill we travel to a near by campsite for the evening.

Caving - Tuesday
Location: Bridgewater, VA
Today we experience one of the muddiest, largest, most exciting caves around! We will explore as long as we like in this new underground environment.

Environmental Stewardship Project - Wednesday
Location: Roanoke
We embark to give back to nature today as we participate in a cave (ESO2-III) or river (ESO4-II) clean up! We will spend the day having fun out in nature enjoying company and help keep the outdoors fun and clean for everyone to experience.

Canoeing/Caving - Thursday
Location: Roanoke
Today we will be heading out on another adventure either canoeing (ESO2-III) or caving (ESO4-II).

Environmental Education & Survival Skills - Friday
Location.: Luray
Explore the science of regional rivers with water quality testing. Spending a cool day by the river is a great opportunity to learn about natural ecosystems and their impact on the quality of water in Virginia. The riverbed provides an excellent spot for survival skills as well, with an abundance of organisms and natural resources at your fingertips.

Closing Activities - Saturday
Location: Adventure Links Base Camp
We begin our journey toward home today. Arriving at the Adventure Links base camp in the early afternoon we begin to clean up and prepare for the final evening’s award ceremony. Campers share their stories of the week with their parents while eating the delicious BBQ prepared by Adventure Links
