Overnight Camping Facilities

Base Camp

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia adjacent to the Shenandoah Valley our Base Camp is a rustic yet comfortable facility. Our lodging is unique because our amphitheatre, fireside benches, bunks, and tent platforms were milled from fallen trees by Hurricane Isabel. We provide bunk tents similar to those used in the military. They are large canvas tents elevated off the ground by wooden platforms. We also have a 24 foot in diameter Tipi for specialty programs. Our mess hall is a 50 person Gulf War tent boasting the best food you’ve ever had on a mountain!

Tent Camping

During our overnight camps and expeditions, campers will sleep under the stars in Adventure Links pop-up tents at our favorite camp sites in the region. Campers will cook dinner on portable camp stoves and replenish their energy for the next day’s activity. Camping wouldn’t be complete without s’mores and evening activities around the fire, after which everyone retreats back to their tents to rest up.
