Environmental Stewardship Adventure Days

Get Outside & Give Back

ACTIVITIES: youth rock climbing youth kayaking canoeing survival skills orienteering virginia youth hiking virginia
AGES: 8-80
COST:
FREE!

Get outside and give back with Adventure Links this summer! We are hosting three Environmental Stewardship Adventure Days in an effort to clean up areas we love and are giving our community the opportunity to be involved. The giving goes both ways too - days will incorporate half a day of environmental stewardship and half a day of adventure! Clean trails at local crag Elizabeth's Furnace in the morning then go rock climbing in the afternoon on us! Clear debris from the Shenandoah River while canoeing, kayaking or rafting, a refreshing experience that is most welcome on hot summer days. Hike the Appalachian Trail while helping out at Bear's Den Hostel, a favorite Blue Ridge stop for AT hikers. Whatever program you choose, be sure your decision to help the environment will be recognized.

The programs are open to all adventurers over 8 years old and we encourage families to come together and volunteer. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
