Learning About The Environment Was Never This Fun!

Go green with Adventure Links! An appreciation for the environment is strengthened with environmental education, an integral part of our summer adventure camps. While not all programs have full days dedicated to environmental education, our staff integrates their knowledge of local plant and animal life in our adventure activities. A day of rock climbing provides an opportunity to talk about the principles of Leave No Trace and how to respect your surroundings. Survival Skills days highlight how to be resourceful in the wild, including plant identification and water ecology. Cavers will be educated on a new ecosystem as they learn about cave creation and different formations. No matter what the activity, summer campers will come home with an appreciation of the outdoors.
