This summer overnight camp provides the perfect stage for self discovery, group development and fun! Traveling around Virginia, West Virginia and Pennsylvania in one of our painted buses, doing adventure activities and enjoying life outdoors is what this trip is all about. Never done anything like this before? No problem, as this teen adventure camp accomodates a wide spectrum of different experience and abilities that allows for educational and leadership opportunities both. Highlights of this trip include climbing on the shady cliffs of Coopers Rock State Park and spending a day in the natural water slides and waterfalls of Ohiopyle, PA.

Team Building - Sunday
Location: Adventure Links Base Camp – Paris, VA
This afternoon will be filled with games, laughter, and initiatives as part of the group's team journey on our High Ropes Challenge Course. Following the Challenge Course, and as part of the pre-trip preparation we will be issuing necessary gear, loading the bus, and packing away personal items. Tent groups will be established, camp will be set up and dinner will be cooked. Following dinner there will be campfire activities and a review of the week’s events to come. Make sure campers have eaten a late breakfast or an early lunch, as lunch will not be provided this day.

Caving - Monday
Location: Whitings Neck – Shepardstown, WV
Today we journey to Shepherdstown, WV and spend the day spelunking and crawling through the passageways of Whitings Neck Cave. The group will then travel to Hidden Springs Campground near Cumberland, MD where we camp and prepare for the next day’s adventures.

Rock Climbing - Tuesday & Wednesday
Location: Cooper’s Rock – Morgantown, WV
We wake up today and travel to Coopers Rock State Park, set up camp and are introduced to the natural rock-wall playground. We learn some basics of rock climbing and spend the rest of the day putting them to use. After dinner, the campers will retire in order to awake refreshed for the next day full of climbing.

Whitewater Rafting - Thursday
Location: Youghiogheny River – Ohiopyle, PA
The famous Youghiogheny River awaits us today. We don our lifejackets with anticipation for the exciting white water of this river. We travel to the nearby Ohiopyle State Park to set up camp for the night.

Natural Water Slides - Friday
Location: Ohiopyle, PA
We hit the trails of Ohiopyle State Park, stopping to admire and swim in the incredible waterfalls and natural water slides. Back at the camp site, primitive technology skills will be introduced, including shelter building and friction fires.

Closing Activities - Saturday
Location: Adventure Links Base Camp
We begin our journey toward home today. Arriving at the Adventure Links base camp in the early afternoon we begin to clean up and prepare for the final evening’s award ceremony. Campers share their stories of the week with their parents while eating the delicious BBQ prepared by Adventure Links
