A Beginner Kayaking and Canoeing Adventure for Scouts

ACTIVITIES:

Spend a day on the river with Adventure Links! With our Introduction to Paddling Programs, scouts will learn basic paddle strokes, safety and boating terminology.  Each member of the group will learn how to safely enter and exit their kayak or canoe and will have the opportunity to execute a T-rescue.  These programs are a great opportunity to improve your kayaking and canoeing while enjoying scenic regional rivers.

All gear is provided for our Introduction to Paddling Programs, so just bring an enthusiastic troop ready to paddle!

Our Introduction to Paddling Programs run on regional rivers in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.
