Orienteering or the use of a map and compass to locate and navigate oneself in an area is useful as a tool but can also be an adventurous way to seek out and learn new skills. Adventure Links has two preset orienteering courses on site. We can also custom design an orienteering course or event, for our site or yours. Besides skill development, these courses can also be integrated with an overall theme, goal, or specific objectives. These courses could be set up as a birthday scavenger hunt or used as a team building initiative to focus on your group or school’s specific objectives.

The recent surfacing of such television show’s as Survivor has led to a new found interest in the old arts of primitive technology and survival skills. Come learn these ancient arts with Adventure Links and save the day on your next outdoor adventure. These programs are informational, educational, experiential, and tons of fun. We have programs for groups teaching:

• Arrowheads and Arrow making
• Darts
• Trapping
