Modern Survival Skills
The basic needs of survival can be characterized by the “Rule of Threes”, outlining requirements for shelter, food and water. Learn basic to advanced skills to support outdoor living and survival, including bow drill fires, shelter constructions, tracking, trapping, plant identification, cordage and more. Combine survival skills with orienteering or geocaching for an all-encompassing lesson in outdoor living.
Primitive Living Skills
Explore the culture and lifestyles of primitive man, taking away new skills and perspective on living off the land. Students move through stations including Shelter Building, Cooking, Animal Tracking, Sensory Awareness, Friction Fires and Team Building.
