Base Camp

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia adjacent to the Shenandoah Valley our Base Camp is a rustic yet comfortable facility. Our lodging is unique because our amphitheatre, fireside benches, bunks, and tent platforms were milled from fallen trees by Hurricane Isabel. We provide bunk tents similar to those used in the military. They are large canvas tents elevated off the ground by wooden platforms. We also have a 24 foot in diameter authentic Native American Tipi for specialty programs. Our mess hall is a 50 person Gulf War tent boasting the best food you’ve ever had on a mountain!

Off-site Camping

Our overnight programs utilize a number of off-site locations for camping. Find yourself waking to the sunrise next to the Potomac River at Jess Judy, or nestle up next to the wood stove in cabins at Brethren Woods. Adventure Links seeks out the most well maintained and enjoyable sites for your overnight camping experience.
