Adventure Links utilizes the High Ropes Course in conjunction with a Low Ropes Course design. A high ropes course can be used as a catalyst for groups in a variety of venues. First, it contains a high degree of perceived risk which places team members onto an even playing field. When confronted with this novel situation, a team is asked to offer support and accept a wide variety of individual responses to fears and inhibitions. Secondly, and most importantly, team members are required to establish and maintain a Challenge by Choice environment. The choice is in the hands of each individual rather than other team members. In a world where many decisions are made under pressure or coercion, a High Ropes Course is a place where the decision to say no is not viewed as a weakness.

Adventure Links operates a ropes course facility at our base camp in Paris, VA. We have also developed Portable Ropes Course Elements that can be transported to any location or event.
