Our Lead Facilitators

Anna Birch is the co-founder and President of Adventure Links Leadership Training and Outdoor Education Center in the Blue Ridge Mountains.  She has spent the last 20 years as a facilitator and administrator of educational, adventure and professional training experiences for youth, adults and corporations.  Designing and delivering innovative, high-impact, and actionable team development immersions is the driving force behind Anna in the adventure leadership and training industry.  Through such designs, Anna has been a catalyst for critical team dialogue and an instrument for positive change and growth in countless organizations and individuals.  Anna is a professional member of the Washington DC Chapter of Entrepreneur’s Organization and certified by the American Mountain Guide Association for rock climbing instruction.

Austin Birch is the co-founder and Vice President of Adventure Links Leadership Training and Outdoor Education Center in the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Austin’s dedication, strategy, innovations and breakthroughs in building his own company provide one of the backdrops in his understanding of the intricacies, decisions and patterns of corporate teams.  He has been an adventure guide, educator and professional facilitator for 15 years.  Austin’s drive to maximize situations, challenge mediocrity, and pose the difficult questions help to catapult groups to realizations and experiences which may have been otherwise overlooked or abandoned altogether. 

Dave Boynton has a diverse professional background as a facilitator and administrator of educational, leadership and adventure experiences.  As the Director of Adventure Links, Dave specializes in delivering group experiences that ignite and compel others to constantly elevate to their highest standard.  His background is filled with experiences as an owner of a kayak school and outdoor education program in New Hampshire, an instructor for the American Canoe Association, a competitive kayaker and a certified advanced wilderness medicine instructor.  Dave’s dynamic leadership style and deep commitment to the philosophies of adventure and leadership education make him a high-impact facilitator for the groups he leads.
